Da die Wolken heute die Sonne verdecken ist f\u00fcr unsere fahrt nach Taiping von 98 km heute ein guter Fahrradtag. Die Strecke ist gut zu fahren, wenig Verkehr und es gibt immer wieder M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr eine kleine Pause. In Taiping bleiben wir zwei N\u00e4chte und schauen uns die Stadt an. Besonders entspannend ist der riesige Park, mit seinen vielen B\u00e4umen und kleinen Seen. Es hei\u00dft Taiping ist die regenreichste Stadt in Malaysia und so ist es auch. Punktlich gegen 14 Uhr f\u00e4ngt es an den beiden Tagen wie aus Eimern an zu sch\u00fctten. <\/p>\n\n\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-2868 gallery-columns-3 Taiping nach George Town<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gleich bei Sonnenaufgang radeln wir los. Unser erstes Ziel ist Butterworth, um dann mit der F\u00e4hre auf die Insel Penang nach George Town \u00fcberzusetzen. Insgesamt sind wir 128 km unterwegs. Es ist ganz sch\u00f6n anstrengend und heiss und wir sind \u00fcber jede Wolke, die ein bisschen Schatten spendet, froh. In George Town finden wir ein nettes Hotel in der N\u00e4he von &#8222;Little India&#8220;. \u00dcberhaupt ist es hier sehr multi kulti und man kann an allen Ecken die koloniale Historie der Stadt
