Es geht auf einer gut asphaltierten Stra\u00dfe immer am Meer entlang. Leider haben wir wieder Gegenwind. Nach ungef\u00e4hr einer Stunde treffen wir auf zwei andere deutsche Radlfahrer. Wir bleiben stehen und ratschen mitten auf der Stra\u00dfe bestimmt 20 Minuten \u00fcber die verschiedensten Themen, n\u00e4chste gute Bleibe, tolle Str\u00e4nde, gutes Essen und andere Reiseerfahrungen. In der n\u00e4chsten Ortschaft Chivirico setzten wir uns erst einmal mit einer kalte Cola in den Park und nutzen die M\u00f6glichkeit im Internet zu chatten. Bei der Abfahrt auf der anderen Seite k\u00f6nnen wir endlich mal den Fahrtwind genie\u00dfen. Es ist heute ganz sch\u00f6n hei\u00df und die Sonne brennt. Ungef\u00e4hr 15 Kilometer vor Santiago machen wir noch eine kleine Pause bei einer Standbar. In Santiago angekommen begeben wir uns auf Zimmersuche. Leider sind die ersten beiden Guesthouses voll und wir werden zu einer befreundeten Unterkunft gebracht. Es gibt dort eine tolle Dachterrasse, zwei Cockerspaniel und einen Netten Innenhof. Wir checken ein und drehen dann eine Runde durch die Altstadt. Hier steuern wir gleich eine Eisdiele in der Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerzone an und kaufen uns umgerechnet f\u00fcr 0,20 Cent einen Eisbecher mit 5 Kugeln und einem St\u00fcck Kuchen. Ungew\u00f6hnliche Kombi, aber sehr lecker. Einen tollen Aussichtspunkt hat man von der Treppe Padre Pico und auch wir haben hier unser Tourifoto gemacht. Wir relaxen und entspannen auf unserer Dachterrasse, bis wir am Abend wieder los zum gro\u00dfen Platz der Stadt laufen um hier die Silvesterparty mit zu feiern. Es gibt jede Menge Essens- und Getr\u00e4nkest\u00e4nde. Ein Feuerwerk und viel Kubanische Musik.
