{"id":1806,"date":"2017-02-07T05:51:25","date_gmt":"2017-02-07T04:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.asien-nord-sued.de\/?p=1806"},"modified":"2017-02-12T15:47:44","modified_gmt":"2017-02-12T14:47:44","slug":"04-02-2017-07-02-2017-luang-prabang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.asien-nord-sued.de\/?p=1806","title":{"rendered":"04.02.2017 &#8211; 07.02.2017 Luang Prabang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Die letzten Tage unserer grossen Reise verbringen wir in der ehemaligen K\u00f6nigsstadt Luang Prabang bevor es wieder zur\u00fcck nach Deutschland geht.<\/p>\n<p>Luang Prabang liegt auf einer Landzunge zwischen den Fl\u00fcssen Mekong und Nam Khan. Bis zur Abschaffung der Monarchie war es die K\u00f6nigsstadt von Laos. Im Indochina-Krieg 1962 &#8211; 1975 erfolgte der milit\u00e4rische Nachschub f\u00fcr den Vietcong in S\u00fcdvietnam auf dem Ho-Chi-Minh-Pfad \u00fcber laotisches Territorium. Schwere Bombardierungen seitens der US-Luftwaffe waren die Folge. Die Stadt Luang Prabang blieb von den Kampfhandlungen weitgehend verschont.\u00a0Der letzte laotische K\u00f6nig Sisavang Vatthana, der bis 1975 in Luang Prabang residiert hatte, wurde mit seiner Frau und dem Kronprinzen in ein politisches Umerziehungslager deportiert. Dort kam die K\u00f6nigsfamilie \u2013 vermutlich 1984 \u2013 aus bislang ungekl\u00e4rten Umst\u00e4nden ums Leben.\u00a0Seitdem ist Laos kommunistisch. Die 32 buddhistischen Kl\u00f6ster sowie die gesamte franz\u00f6sische Kolonialarchitektur in der Stadt wurden unter Denkmalschutz gestellt und z\u00e4hlen seit 1995 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Hier l\u00e4sst es sich wunderbar entspannen und man kann es sich in den unz\u00e4hligen Restaurants und Cafes einfach gut gehen lassen.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-1806
